Perimenopuase is tough! I know this can be a very challenging time, but I want you to know you're not alone. So many women go through this, and it's perfectly normal to feel a wide range of emotions and physical changes. I'm here to support you. We can get through this together.

I've designed a 12-week program that you can integrate into your current fitness routine or use independently. Personally, I workout 5-6 days a week (not a requirement though, it’s part of my job), dedicating two days specifically to strength training. As I approach 46, I feel stronger than ever. Finally, I'm sleeping through the night, constantly hungry (in a good way), and noticeably happier and I have energy!

The program will be delivered through the Everfit app, complete with video demos (not featuring me—I'm camera shy). I'll guide you on what weights to use, rep schemes, recovery times, incorporate progressive overload and track your workout progress. Think of me as your pocket personal trainer. Additionally, every two weeks, we can connect via Google Meet to address any questions you have or simply to chat and share experiences. You can also reach me anytime using the app via the messenger.  I’m here for support, guidance and accountability.  Gym membership or access to weights is needed.

For most of you these workouts will involve moves you already know. If this is new to you, don’t worry we can go over any questions or concerns you may have.

What are the benefits of this?

1. **Maintaining Muscle Mass:** During perimenopause, hormonal changes can lead to muscle loss. Muscle mass is sooooo vital, especially as we age. I plan on being the 80 year old lady at the family bbq doing push-ups.

2. **Bone Health:** Estrogen levels decline during perimenopause, affecting bone density. Another biggie!!

3. **Improving Metabolism:** Building muscle through strength training enhances metabolic rate. I went from always being hungry to no appetite and feeling sluggish and bloated. Now I always want food and the bloat’s gone.

4. **Enhancing Mood and Energy:**  I became a bit of a hermit, socializing was daunting and draining, now I’m the life of the party! JK, I’ve never liked parties but dinner for four, I’m all in!! I have a ton of energy and I feel more like myself.

5.**Body composition:**I don’t want to focus  too much on weight, that’s not what this is about but lifting heavy will create some changes. People always ask about this, which is why I put it in. The weight I care about, will be the one you’re picking up. If your clothes start to fit a little better, awesome!

This will be a pretty comprehensive program, one that I hope you will continue to do after the 12 weeks. You’ve built the foundation, where you go with it is endless!

Each program will start on the 15th of every month and will be limited to 15 sign ups.
